Animal Free (AF) Types AFA, AFB, and AFC collagenases are derived from cultures grown in medium completely devoid of animal-based components and are specifically designed for bioprocessing and tissue dissociation applications where the introduction of potential animal-derived pathogens must be prevented.
Animal Free Collagenase Type B (Code: CLSAFBS) contains higher collagenase and caseinase activities than CLSAFA.
Collagenase, Animal Origin-Free (Code: CLSAFBS) is supplied as a lyophilized powder, filtered through a 0.22 micron membrane.
