Description

The Bio-Spun™ 12-Well Individual Insert Plate offers a scalable platform for cell-based research incorporating a biomimetic, animal-free Bio-Spun™ scaffold within each insert to create a porous, natural-like, cell-friendly environment for 3D cell culture. With 12 inserts per plate, researchers can conduct multiple experiments simultaneously, benefiting from the scaffold’s structure, which facilitates nutrient exchange, cell adhesion, and cell integration. This plate is ideally suited for applications such as barrier function studies, tissue engineering, and pharmaceutical testing, while ensuring consistent, reproducible experimental outcomes. It also serves as an animal-free alternative to traditional ECM-based matrices for advanced in vitro research.

Available in the following Bio-Spun™ Scaffold materials (polymere and thickness):

PET (150µm)
PU (15-20µm)
PDLGA (1.0 IV) / PLLA (1.8 IV) Bilayer (100µm)
PDLGA (1.0 IV) (25µm)

PDLGA and PDLGA/PLLA scaffolds are biodegradable, while PU and PET scaffolds are non-degradable.
