Interferon-a 2b Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 165 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 19269 Dalton. The Pegylated IFN-a 2b is produced by attaching 40kDa NHS-mPEG to the primary amino acid of IFN alpha-2b. Interferon-a 2b is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
