PhotoDextran®, Methacrylated Dextran (Dextran only)

Description

PhotoDextran® is 1 gram of lyophilized methacrylated dextran. PhotoDextran® provides 3D hydrogels that can be prepared at multiple concentrations and photocrosslinked (requires a photoinitiator) to provide various gel stiffness. Can be mixed with other photocrosslinkable ECM’s.
Advanced BioMatrix offers PhotoDextran®, a methacrylated dextran for photocrosslinkable hydrogels or incorporating within photocrosslinkable hydrogels (such as PhotoGel, PhotoCol or PhotoHA). PhotoDextran^® provides native-like 3D gels with unique attributes: It can be prepared at various concentrations and photocrosslinked in a variety of way to provide a truly tunable gel stiffness. PhotoDextran® can be ordered by itself (1 gram lyophilized sterile powder), or as a kit that comes with a photoinitiator for photocrosslinking:

Once solubilized, the PhotoDextran^® can be stored at 2-10°C for 1 month.
