Description
Worthington Collagenase Type 6 is a high-activity collagenase preparation with elevated collagenase, FALGPA and caseinase activities. It has a caseinase-to-collagenase activity ratio of approximately 2:1 and is designed to be enriched in Type II (Col H) collagenase relative to Type I (Col G) collagenase.
Important: The terms Type I (Col G) and Type II (Col H) refer to the two collagenase enzymes produced by Clostridium histolyticum. They are not the same as Worthington’s Type 1 and Type 2 collagenase preparations. The latter are product preparations with different activity profiles and should not be confused with the Type I/Type II enzyme components Col G and Col H.

Collagenase Type 6 is available unfiltered (CLS-6).
Preparations are stable for 12 months from date of receipt when stored as recommended.
