Description

The Bio-Spun™ 6-Well Individual Insert Plate is designed for in vitro research applications requiring a biomimetic, animal-free scaffold for 3D cell culture and tissue engineering. Each plate contains six individual inserts, each featuring a Bio-Spun™ scaffold that provides a porous, natural-like, cell-friendly environment. This advanced scaffold supports reliable cell adhesion, proliferation, and differentiation and serves as an excellent animal-free alternative to traditional ECM-based matrices. It is ideally suited for applications in regenerative medicine, disease modeling, high-performance 3D culture, and drug screening. The plate ensures experimental consistency, reproducibility, and compatibility with standard laboratory workflows.

Available in the following Bio-Spun™ Scaffold materials (polymere and thickness):

PET (150µm)
PU (15-20µm)
PDLGA (1.0 IV) / PLLA (1.8 IV) Bilayer (100µm)
PDLGA (1.0 IV) (25µm)

PDLGA and PDLGA/PLLA scaffolds are biodegradable, while PU and PET scaffolds are non-degradable.
