Factor Deficient Plasmas

The Factor-deficient Plasmas are derived from normal, citrated human plasma through the process of immunodepletion, targeting the specific deficient Factor. An exception is Factor VIII deficient Plasma, which is chemically depleted of factor VIII activity while maintaining normal antigen content, also known as CRIM+ plasma.

Therefore, all Factor-deficient Plasmas maintain normal levels of remaining, non-depleted human factors.

Each plasma sample undergoes a comprehensive assay to confirm the adequate activity levels of the remaining factors (≥50% activity). Additionally, the samples are evaluated for fibrinogen, prothrombin time (PT), activated partial thromboplastin time (aPTT), and clarity values.

All Plasmas are of research-grade quality, calibrated against IVD plasma.
